Departure from Belgrade at 8.00 AM. Arrival to Golubačka Fortres
, which has recently been completely restored and is considered one of the most beautiful and preserved fortresses in Europe, around 10 AM.
After visiting the fortress, we continue our bus journey towards Donji Milanovac. Upon arrival in Donji Milanovac, you’ll have lunch at a beautiful restaurant called the Captain Mišin Hil, where you’ll be able to taste famous Vlach delicacies, and enjoy a stuning views.
In Tekije we will embark on a boat and begin an hour and a half long cruise to Djerdap Gorge
, the deepest gorge in Europe and the largest National park in Serbia! We’ll sail through Mali Kazan (with an incredible depth of 90 meters!). You’ll see ancient signal stations, King Decebal’s head on the Romanian side, as well as the famous Trajan’s Plaque on the Serbian side which can’t be seen any other way than from the water.
After the cruise is over, we are heading to Lepenski Vir
, the oldest archaeological site in Europe if not the World! This locality was the seat of one of the most important Neolithic cultures who lived in the area 9.500 years ago!
The return to Belgrade around 10.00 PM
