TMID Young Scientist Best Paper Award Winner

The Evaluation team (Adriano Casulli, Italy; Zeno Bisoffi, Italy; Michael Ramharter, Germany) for the TMID Young Scientist Best Paper Award announced that the winner is Jelena SRBLJANOVIĆ (Serbia), for her paper “Aminoquinolines afford resistance to cerebral malaria in susceptible mice”.

BEST PAPER AWARD related to tropical medicine! Sponsored by Tropical Medicine and Infectious Disease

Tropical Medicine and Infectious Disease is an international, scientific, peer-reviewed, open access journal of tropical medicine and infectious disease published quarterly online by MDPI. It is the official journal of the Australasian College of Tropical Medicine (ACTM) and its Joint Faculties of Travel Medicine and Expedition and Wilderness Medicine.

The journal Tropical Medicine and Infectious Disease is pleased to sponsor the Young Scientist Award at EMOP 2021. This prize will be given to one young investigator in recognition of his/her excellent research in a field related to tropical medicine.

The prize consists of a certificate and a cash prize of 400 euro.

All EMOP 2021 participants who have an abstract selected for oral presentation, provided they are the first named author on the abstract, and that they are ≤ 40 years of age, are eligible for consideration for this award.

The winner of the award will be announced at the EMOP 2021 Closing Ceremony on Saturday October 16.
